A couple things:

1)  Is Kahne really holding Darrah's balls to the flame? Has his patience finally worn out?

2)  The Kaeding story is probably along the lines of what most of us "not in the know" assumed. Are ALL the details out? No. Assuming what was found was for personal use and he wasn't operating a vehicle, will Tim now be chastized and unfairly categorized for this? It's already happened.

I get it. You either play by their rules or take the risk that your personal choices and what you do in your spare time may face the judgment of not only 'THE LAW' but the rest of society as well. Isn't it time that we move past the punishment of victimless "crimes" and focus on more important issues facing society?

Well, I'm far from perfect. Tim Keading is the most polite driver I've ever met. We are all entitled to step on our cranks. I hope to see him again. In NO WAY should he be even mentioned in the same sentence with Tyler Walker.

I  don't know what happen bring the two Mr. Roth and  Tim , but Tim Kaeding  is  a class  act  and  a  true  credit  to our  great sport we so love . Most  all  drivers  are  true assets to our sport , but fans have to understand  that  they have  concentrate  or focus what is  in front of them for the night . I tell  you many stories  when   a drive may  have been rude to me but  that is because  he focused on racing . Talk to drivers  after races  or early before not close  to racing  time .

I have a feeling the Roth/TK split will work out fine for both parties.  Gravel is already making Roth look smart.  And assuming everything still happens as scheduled with the 59, that car will be a threat to win any race they show up at.  TK will be motivated like we've never seen before.

yup......another of the "dont ask, dont tell" situations. as long as no one gets hurt or arrested, it isnt happening. eckert just put it in a way that tells some of the hidden facts. glad he didnt name more names.

But this situation will have a drug conviction . Guess that means no more racing in Canada or down under.

Interesting that Tony Stewart was warned to steer clear of Walker and Kaeding after doing a background check as far back as 2007. Guess reality sure is different than the phony image the Cali. posters would have people believe on here.

Kevin got two things right in his article.... #1 Tim's name and #2... The fact Tim said ' when I'm ready to tell my story, I will." And he wouldn't give him an interview...Even his stuff about Brent was BS ... seeking the truth and telling the truth are two different things.... Learn the truth and then print it......

This is nice and all, but there's a really simple way to avoid stuff like this happening and it involves actual clarity and comment on what happened. Not trying to offend - just pointing out the obvious.

Public v's private.

Many struggle with what should be public and what should bbe private. I think the answer is quite easy.. Once you sell your name or image to make $ from fans then you lose your private lifestyle.

As an example,  if Tim has never produced shirts with his name on them,  or appeared in any type of advertising using his name /image then I could easily say that this is his own private issue to deal with and that he doesn't owe  an explanation to anyone.

Once someone using their name and likeness to make a profit from the public then surely they lose the argument about a right to privacy.

Once an incident occurs,  the quickest way to stop any/all BS is to come clean and make a statement to his fans,  potentially asking for forgiveness,  or if he feels that he is innocent,  then explain it.

Truth and only truth will set one and all free. Denial by itself without any statements of truth is actually a negative and in itself,  only serves the purpose to create more interest and thus speculation.

Creating false statements,  leads people to lose trust and thus respect and will cause long term image damage.  Yes... That same image that earns you money...

A Cali company like Medical Marijuana Inc should sponsor a team for him. Car could be number 420 and it could have a leaf wrap.

Doubtful. Giving up the hash is probably a good idea.

One thing that will never change will be those against drugs and those who see no problem with them.
