Keep it coming - I'm up for it.  This is absolutely laughable. My big long BS reply...... What is so hard to understand? Mr. Heffner should sue the All Stars - simple.  How else is this going to get resolved?  Not on some message board, that's for sure.

Please, somebody who is capable of making logical, reasonable arguements - not calling people names because they can't respect somebody else's opinion, tell me in the business world (racing is a business), why you would continue to do business with someone who has broken a contract with you?

Read slowly and maybe it wil make sense this time. Heffner gets paid by the Allstars on race night, Heffner said so in the article, Mr. Heffner also has an obligation to his hired full time driver Greg Hodnett, It would not be fair to Hodnett to park the car for Allstar events that have high purses because Mr. Webb cant fufill his obligations from last year when Lance Dewease was his hired driver, that is why he continues to race with the Allstars, does that make sense? Now you do me a favor and explain why does Heffners contiued support of the Allstars have any bearing on the money thats owed to him from last year? As far as Im concerned Heffner is doing the Allstars a favor by showing up and racing despite being screwed around for the point money.  You would be the first hater bashing Heffner for parking his car during Allstar races for late payment. You seem to be arguing for the sake of arguing, you also think the only solution is getting the law involved, maybe Mr.Heffner is a decent man who wants to give this guy another chance to make things right. Now please you just took a shot at every fan in PA and your upset because you got called a big mouth, if the shoe fits wear it.....big mouth LOL

So they run the highest paying shows - why weren't they at Eldora last weekend for the Outlaw shows?

Besides, I asked for a reasonable, calm reply without name calling.....

Actually, gents, it's all good.  I'm done.

Enjoy the Grove tonight, or wherever else you may go to the races this weekend.  Have fun.

I wish the best for Mr. Heffner in getting his money from the All Stars, and I hope for a great season for his team.

Peace and blessings to you all - I'm done.

Hey Larsonfan, I'll go ahead and do a calm reply to you. I see your point in saying that if Heffner is upset then he should not run any all star races and/or take legal action against Webb. The issues with that are, Heffner is simply the car owner and not both the owner and driver. In order to make his ride attractive either for his current driver or future driver he kind of has to work out a schedule in order to keep the driver happy as well as make his ride profitable/breakeven at all possible. The All stars have an attractive purse for each event and they also announce before each season that they have a championship purse for several different regions. This is attactive to both the owner and driver as they both get a cut of the purse. Also, being in Central PA, I believe the all star races are part of their track championship points, I could be wrong with that though. Heffner has been know to leave the porch from time to time going to shows like Eldora in the past but that is something that he and the driver probably agree to. Heffner would have to judge risk on transportation costs vs reward of finish in that matter. Most of the Eastern region points are scored in central PA territory so they are essentially racing where they were going to go anyway that week.

As far as legal action, it really would be a bad move in this case because Heffner would end up losing money in the matter if he attempted to go to through the court system. It would cost thousands of dollars in court/attorney fees in this matter plus he has to give his driver half of the money due to terms that were agreed upon. Of the 20k, Mike Heffner only gets 10k. By the time the legal process ends it could take years for him to get the money and he could very well spend 10k just to get the 10k. Also, since both parties would be engaged in a legal matter, some states would not allow them to conduct any business until the process is over, don't know if PA would be one of those states. That means Heffner would not be able to race at an All Star sanctioned event, which means any event in central Pa, which means they lose points at those tracks, could lose a championship, could lose more money.

Bottom line, you say you are going to pay out $20,000, when its time to fork over the money, you pay it. When I get my electric bill each month I pay it, when a construction company builds a building they get paid for it, when you race at specified events, score more points and win overall you get paid what was presented. If Webb could not pay it the first year then they should not have offered it the second year.

For Mike Heffner, it's not about supporting the All Stars. He makes a good point in our conversations — I've asked him why he supports them — when he says he is supporting the local tracks. It's not the track's fault that he isn't getting his money. Plus, he has a professional driver. It's how these guys make their living, and he wants to provide guys like Pittman, Dewease and Hodnett the best opportunity to make that living.

That being said, I will be surprised if they go to New York for the one All Star race up there this year. Dietrich has already said he is not going.
