So basically, he has something out for Guy Webb because he's reporting a Spade as a Spade?

Just wanted to say that I too agree that Guy Webb is an absolute jerk in every sense of the word. I know of other people being stiffed by him too. He is EXTREMELY dense and I would even say downright stupid. When I tried to explain basic things to him, he freaked out and started insulting me. A true professional...professional clown. Hope every track stops running All Star events in the near future. Would never support them.

  You are a fawking idiot.  I'll give you a pass just for your screen name.   Pot shots?  I don't know any driver/owner that wouldn't be highly pissed off if they didn't get paid the money/purse due to them.   I don't know what you do for a living.... but it would be the same as your employer coming up to you Friday at "paycheck time" and say.... "sorry man, we don't have it right now.... I'll make it good later".     That Larson kid had to be god damn ashamed to have a dolt like you using his name on a message board.

Here's an idea for you..how about quit whining and actually do something about this situation. First of all, QUIT SUPPORTING THE ALL STARS. The next time they come to PA, all of your teams and your fans should boycott their shows. Are you going to do that? Didn't think so. Next, file lawsuits against the group if you are owed money. If I'm a judge and you come into my court and you are suing someone for not complying with a contract (all of this is stated in a contract, right?), but then you tell me you contiue to support the same person ripping you off, that would be the end of that litigation.

Now, what I do for a living....since you mentioned that. I work for the government. And actually, my "employer" furloughed a bunch of us last summer through the sequestration.  Thanks for asking though.

The sad thing is, I'm actually from Central Pennsylvania. Thankfully, you don't represent the family and friends I have back there.

If he can not pay last years point fund how is he going to pay off this years?  The money he is paying now for last years would be I would think for this years points pay off.  Be ready for the next episode this next year.

I have read almost all of Gator's articles over the years and feel that they are all very well written. Yeah some of reporting gets done from the Central PA stand point at times but hey that is where most of the reporting gets done. The article from a couple of weeks ago about the All Stars not winning in PA before the event was on point in my opinion and he had facts to back them up. I'm from Central Ohio and Dale Blaney is one of my favorite drivers but lets all be honest, tracks in Central PA are some of the hardest tracks to compete on weekly, let alone only racing at them a couple of times a year. Whenever the all stars race there they are the underdog. Hell, the outlaws at times are the underdogs.

As far as Webb not paying Heffner the money he deserves lets all use a little common sense. First of all, when you say "hey whoever wins this at the end of the year gets 20K," you might want to be sure that you will have the 20k. If you think for a second that you will not have funds to come up with them then you probably should not offer it. At the very least when sponsorship fall through maybe send something out to the teams and let them know that we will have some difficulty paying out the point fund due to unforeseen events. Don't wait until after some one has one something and say do you mind if i put you on a payment plan?

Finally why should Heffner boycott the all star events when they come to PA? They probably pay more than a regular purse and if he is getting the money after the race where is the problem? If Webb didnt pay the purse right after each race I'm sure there would be a lynch mob after the show. Throughout the years we have all heard stories about how big of a dope Webb is and now finally someone stood up and voiced out facts. Sometimes those hurt when they are told.

I really don't think there is any type of contract that Heffner signed.  So, if he would go through legal channels he would lose. 

I don't believe you would need a contract to prove an advertised point fund hasn't been paid out, but it would be counter-productive to bring legal action in this case. The costs alone would cut into the potential earnings and it would likely lead to not being able to run ASCoC events, and a parked car makes no money.

What does Pennsylvania have to do with anything except that Heffner is from Pa and the guy who called you an idiot is from Pa? You suggest that all Pa fans and teams boycott the Allstars when they visit Pa tracks and suggest that the guy who called you an idiot somehow organize the boycott and then taunt him saying he will never do it? Since you threw out that you work foe the govt I must ask, why do we continue to purchase oil from the middle east even though they are ripping us off? Same reason Heffner continues to races with the allstars, He built a car to race, his driver was hired to race, when the best paying race in your area is an allstar race you allow your hired driver to race for the money, if Heffner boycotting an allstar race would somehow help him get paid for the point fund he is owed I'm sure he would boycott it. THINK before you say something so silly, "As long as Heffner continues to race with the Allstars its his fault that they still owe him money" genius my friend absolute genius.

What I did say is stop whinning and do something about it.  Either you race with the All Stars, and take your chances with point money - or don't race with them.  And use the legal system.

What is so hard to understand about this?  Ever heard the saying, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me? Also, so now racing with the All Stars is comperable to US foreign policy?

Good thing your not a judge because your court example is as stupid as your rant, continuing to do business with someone even if they owe you money does not negate the money they owe you, does it?  its a racing team, they race to win to get paid the money thats promised to them for winning, pretty simple right, Guy webb needs to pay end of story! has nothing to do with the heffner teams choice to continue to race in his series, and Heffenr has every right to be pissed and let us all know about it. somehow you think its ok to screw a team over as long as they continue to support the series, really thats your argument? So then whats your problem with this situation, your making big bold redicoulous statements, what or who do you have a problem with? I think heffner is being pretty cool all things considered, hes trying to let him make payments even though he should have been paid all at once, so now he gives Guy some bad publicity, to freaking bad, hes lucky he hasnt gotten the law involved because he would obviously win the case. again I ask who do you have a problem with in this situation. Heffners kindness is being taken for weakness and now he's had enough and is gonna shame Guy into doing the right thing, probably wont work but its better than having him arrested.

Keep it coming - I'm up for it.  This is absolutely laughable. My big long BS reply...... What is so hard to understand? Mr. Heffner should sue the All Stars - simple.  How else is this going to get resolved?  Not on some message board, that's for sure.

Please, somebody who is capable of making logical, reasonable arguements - not calling people names because they can't respect somebody else's opinion, tell me in the business world (racing is a business), why you would continue to do business with someone who has broken a contract with you?
