Can anyone tell me about the kart races that go on around the sprint car racing in Knoxville? Is it during the day Wed. and Thurs.? Is it worth taking 4 kids and 3 dads to? Thanks

We have been going since the first year they had them and it is well worth the trip down there, the track is located a few mile south of town. The cost is inexpensive for spectators like $5 for adults, these karts really put on a awsome show. The races run wed. -friday or least they did last year. In the past A few karts from California have showed up and these kids really get on the gas.We will make an afternoon of it again just not sure which days.

We had a blast there last year.

For video clips go to http://www.kylelarsonracing.com/videos.htm and toward the bottom of the video page in RED is the 2005 Knoxville Kart National and also the 2004 with JJ Yeley in a kart.
