Phillip Mock picked up his first IRA A-Main win last night. He was the class of the field and held off Bill Rose at the line on the last lap. Here are the highlights.

Great night of racing. Thanks to all the teams and fans that supported the show with the cold temps. Sure not looking any warmer for Oshkosh next Sunday.

Who is the announcer ? He is one of the best if not the best I have ever heard . Dude who ever you are keep up the outstanding work . You got a fan in new jersey .

The announcer is Ray Underwood, he is the total package and does a great job.

I think there are times that he does real, real good, and there are times he is lacking. When he is speaking, it is good, when he isn't speaking, it is bad. There seems to be too much down time/quiet time in between races. More interaction with the fans, and more background of the drivers can fill that time. All in all, yes, he is doing a great job. He has come a long way. My take on his overall performance would be a whole lot higher if i didn't have to hear "Are you kidding me" multiple times in a night. JMO.

I know everyone is sick of seeing Balog win, but if he wouldn't have had the flat tire I think the top 4 finishers would have put on a GREAT show. I honestly don't know if he had enough for either Mock and/or Bill Rose. The old Beaver Dam is BACK! Tacky tacky tacky! WoO might actually threaten the track record now!
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Cold as a (natural) witch's titty but well worth the drive. took (another) friend to their first ever sprint car race. great to finally get the season started, and now we have a WoO show to look forward to in a couple weeks. right now the forecast for Wilmot on that date looks great. picked up my tickets last night!
