Humboldt Speedway to Host Non-Wing Sprints This Friday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Geary, Oklahoma – April 22, 2014 - This coming Friday night, Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas will be hosting the Wingless Auto Racing (WAR) 410-ci sprint car series as well as their weekly divisions of USRA modifieds, USRA B-mods, USRA stock cars and pure stocks.
After two events for the WOW non-wing 410 sprint car series, Mitchell Moore of Edgerton, Kansas is the current point leader for the tour. Other tour regulars expected include Chad Goff, Bob Thoman, Josh Stephens and Pete Palazzado – who currently sit in the top five of the point standings. The last event held just one week ago saw a full field of twenty-two cars on hand and approximately that many are expected at “The Hummer” as well.
With just four events having been completed on this young 2014 race season, current point leaders in each of the four divisions are as follows: USRA modified – Travis Smith; USRA B-mod – Jimmie Davis; USRA stock car – Jeremy Wilson and pure stocks – Wayne Johnson
Adult tickets are just $13 for this non-wing sprint special with kids general admission just $5. Gates open at 6:00 PM with racing slated for an 8:00 PM start time.
Humboldt Speedway is located of hwy. 169, take the Humboldt Exit #224 then go west one block to electric plant. Turn left and then go to stop sign, turn left again and the speedway is one mile on right.
