Hi Everyone! Happy "DOUBLE" Race week!
Thanks to those of you who attended the Lee County Speedway Sprint Invader
Race on Saturday, April 5th. Congratulations goes out to Russ Hall on his
first WIN of the season!
Next two races scheduled are this week... Southern Iowa Speedway -
Wednesday, April 16th and unfortunately Independence Motor Speedway has
postponed until - Friday, May 30, 2014! (Due to a lightening strike last
week, which fried their electrical service at the track, they have been
forced to postpone until Musco lighting is fixed)

Mike VanGenderon, the promoter has informed me that the fairboard requests
their show be over between 10 and 10:15... Mike has also advised that we
need to make sure that we stay on schedule. (see below) Time is of the
essence, in order for us to be invited back to race next year!

7:15 Heat Races: Sport Mods, Sprint Cars, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars, Modifieds
8:00 - 8:15 Sprint Dash / B Main if necessary
8:20 - 8:30 Features: Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars, Sprints,
Modifieds
NO INTERMISSION
NOTE: DRIVERS, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO WARM YOUR ENGINE BEFORE THE DRIVERS
MEETING TAKES PLACE! And.... HELMETS & RACE GEAR ARE REQUIRED WHEN WARMING
YOUR ENGINES AT EVERY TRACK THIS SEASON!
ALSO... Reminder: In the event that you are involved in a caution and
must be towed to the pits. STAY WITH YOUR CAR! It is your responsibility
to ensure your car is taken back to the proper location in the pit area!

Pit Pass $30 (ALL AGES ALLOWED INTO PITS, WITH MINOR RELEASE)
Student Pit Pass Ages 7 - 13 $20 Ages 6 & under $10
Grandstand Adult $15, Students 7-17 $7 - Kids 6 and under FREE
Hoosier Tires will be available for purchase at each SIA event, courtesy
of Wagner Tire Sales. If you have questions between races or need to
