WORLD OF OUTLAWS AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY NEXT SATURDAY!

(Perris, CA, April 5, 2013)  The legendary STP World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has been winding its way through Northern and Central California for nearly a month.  It will conclude its early season tour of the Golden State next Saturday night, April 12th, when it joins the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars and The PAS Senior Sprints in the So. Cal. Sprint Car Spectacular at Perris Auto Speedway.  After that event, like snowbirds heading for Florida for the winter, the World of Outlaws will begin the journey back to the Midwest and east where it spends a majority of the warmer months of the year.

After three races in Florida during February to open the 2014 campaign, the tour and its bevy of superstar drivers loaded up their haulers and headed west in early March.  Their first stop was in “Sin City,” Las Vegas, and then Tucson, Arizona before heading into California.    Going into this weekend’s races at the Calastoga Speedway in Northern California’s gorgeous Wine Country, the competitive series has produced seven different winners in seven different races since leaving Florida. Three of the winners, Paul McMahon, Brad Sweet and Rico Abreau, are California natives.  Other winners on the western swing have been Oklahoma’s Darryn Pittman, North Dakota’s Donny Schatz, David Gravel of Connecticut and Australian Kerry Madsen.

After this Saturday and Sunday’s races at Calistoga, the World of Outlaws race Friday at King’s Speedway in Hanford before next Saturday’s “Spectacular” at Perris Auto Speedway.  Advance tickets for next Saturday, which include a free fan pit pass, are available at the following link http://dirtcar.ticketforce.com/ordertickets.asp?p=424&backurl=default.asp or by calling toll free to: 877 395-8606.

In addition to the traveling band of racecar gypsies, the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series, featuring point leader Damion Gardner of Concord, California, and The PAS Senior Sprints, headed by defending champ and three-time USAC title winner Rick Hendrix of Palmdale, will also be putting on full shows on the triple header night of open wheel action.

For more information on The PAS call: (951) 940-0134.

Camping for all events at The PAS is available for $25.00 per night.  The campground will open at noon on Friday.  Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

Perris Auto Speedway wants to thank its corporate sponsors for the 2014 season. 1-800LoanMart, 777 Racecars, All Coast Construction, Amsoil, Ayers Hotel and Spa, BlueLine Rental, Budweiser, CamGuard, Champion Towing, City of Perris, Daytona Boat & RV Storage, Edelbrok, Engine Pro, HD Industries, Hoosier Tires, K&N Engineering, McMahon’s RV, Pep Boys, P.I.P.E., Pepsi-Cola, Pick-A-Part Auto Salvage, Prolong Super Lubricants, Running Waters Hospice, Scott Sales, Shaver Racing Engines, Sprint Car Driving Experience, Square H, Swedish Speed, Trench Shoring, US Foods and Valley Auto Salvage.

I noticed there are 3 different levels of pricing.  I assume premium is at the top with the backs?  But can you tell where the general admission seats (are located)?  Are there any GA on the front straight grandstands (how high up) or just the corner grandstands?

JD - it appears the GA seats are rows 1-11 in sections A-D and J-M (The top 5 rows are reserved).  GA is limited rows 1-5 sections E-I (where rows 6-11 are reserved, and 12-16 are the premium reserved).

The diagram doesn't show it, but I assume the corners are GA as well.  For the extra $5 it's worth grabbing a reserved seat IMO.

What is the schedule of events for Saturday?  Do pit gate and spectator gates open at usual times?

Thanks!
