Hope he was satisfied with his win on Saturday, sure makes it look bad for Pa. racing this year when only 16 cars show up for a $4000 to win $300 to start show Sunday at Selinsgrove . Good thing the six cars with at least a four hour tow came while others either stayed home or played at the Grove.

I usually go to Selinsgrove once a season to remind me of why I don't go back...Glad I didn't make that annual visit yesterday... :/

It had nothing to do with teams not wanting to race. Just look at the racing that typically takes place there and how many teams blew tires on Sunday and you'll know why only 16 cars showed up.

Selinsgrove's surface sucks, and double sucks during daylight racing. The clay up there chews up tires and half the field has blowouts. The 410 racing there sucks period. The place is so big and fast that the cars get strung out and all but no passing. It's like watching a cup race at Pocono minus the blown tires. I have yet to see a 410 race there where the guy who starts 12th wins. It is always from the first 1 or 2 rows. I wouldn't show uo either if i knew that if I start in the back that's where im gonna finish.

Not only do most of Selinsgrove 410 shows suck, but if im DD, I go to the Grove and test as well, and get that motor figured out. Last I checked, DD runs for point championship at the Grove, not selinsgrove. Also, I would much rather go practice where 90% of the big money races (6 outlaw shows, 3/4 all star shows, memorial shows, 20000$ to track champion) rather then venture to a 4000$ race and blow tires, and deal with strung out racing. JMO though

Wow ! Lots of early season negativity. Watch out you two don't peak too early.

I spent my Sunday Selinsgrove money on Saturday at Trail Way...I'll try and save a few bucks for Memorial weekend or possibly Speedyweeks... :/

Danny Dietrich will be out of the area for the 360 and 410 Nationals at Knoxville. He could miss another show. He doesn't care about points this year. He cares about wins.

No negativity, just facts. And if I remember correctly, hodnett missed 5/6 weeks last season, and still only lost the points championship by 5. Even if he doesn't care about points, the fact the grove runs 6 outlaw shows totaling roughly, 100,000$, (if winning them)or miss one selinsgrove show for 4000$?

I'm guessing some guys like to go FAST and some don't. With the way Danny runs at Selinsgrove I'd stay home to.

Heard that today on Winged Nation, I'll be more than happy to see him at Port on a few more Saturdays this season.

Is it possible the reason most of the guys that got flat tires was that they havent raced at Selinsgrove very much.
Example 63,10h,19m,5,and 37 Guys with alot of races there all finished12,7,11,1z and0. 27,3,and 17b did not have tire
problems but other reasons for droping out.
The way it looks the only car in Pa. running for the overall points is Hodnett.
