For those who have not heard Edd French of Dallas Texas area passed away yesterday.
Remember watching Edd race the four 7's several times in 74/75 season at Lawton Speedway, his car was one of the first sprint tail tank covers I had ever seen back then, looked very odd to all the squared/duck tailed style cars , now today it is all the norm.
Remeber Edd following the WoO when they came through on their Sagebrush Tour in early 80's and Edd had a Big Block with Zoomies, would ring your ears even from middle of the Bellville Highbanks infield, I attribute that to some of my deafness over the years.lol
Even remember Edd racing at OKC back in the 90's and he was still running 305's with Smiley Sitton SST Series in Texas.
Very long career for Edd , RIP Edd French.

I can look, might have some from the early 80's when he came through and ran with the WoO with a Big Block Chevy, I might have a couple of then, if so will scan and put em on here sometime soon. Trying to get Sprint Car going to start season, but will try and look for ya.

Came to Knoxville, maybe a season opener and won the feature. Drove a car out of Grand Island that was super fast. Had a long career.
