BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Danica Patrick wrecked just minutes into what turned into a dicey first practice session Friday at Bristol Motor Speedway.

You conveniently failed to mention that Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle, and Justin Allgaier also crashed...

I am pretty sure that every driver who has turned competitive laps have said the same thing. I know that I was just an avereage street stock driver, but I know I said "It was the walls fall for getting two close" I also said "wow, where did that turn come from"

Someone said the wind was picking up the cars and throwing them into the wall.

I am with Brettco on this one, I thought this was going to be another Brian Brown thread.

You should get on the phone with Tony Stewart and the advertising executives at Go Daddy and set them straight if you have all the answers. I'm sure they'll heed the call and listen to what you've got to say. That pretty much sums up my thoughts on the Danica hatin' posts that pop up on my favorite Sprint Car forum every time she wrinkles a fender in NASCAR.

Well Stan, if her name was Dan Patrick and she was a he and had the same results, he/she would be out of the sport. And, if you don't know that, who are you trying to kid?

From www.mrn.com
Stewart-Haas Racing was also under fire heading to Bristol. But there should be some smiles back at the shop Monday morning even though there were mixed results. Tony Stewart will no doubt be grinning all week after he was able to post a fourth place finish Sunday, by far his best performance of the year. Kevin Harvick ran well again but mechanical issues ended his night. Kurt Busch was solid until he got caught up in an incident with of all people his brother Kyle. Unfortunately it’s hard to find a silver lining for Danica Patrick, who started her weekend with a practice crash and endured another accident during the race before ramming Clint Bowyer on her way out of the pits later

i don't have a dog in the fight, i don't watch nascar, just look at the results for where some of the sprint car drivers finish, but here is a video of what some of the drivers have to say about her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Pt5D9QoB20

You mean like Mike Skinner who had hundreds of starts and zero wins, or Mike Waltrip who had 300+ starts before Jr pushed him to his first win? If Kyle Larson doesn't get a win this year should he be out of the sport too! Dave Blaney has a great record too, must be why he's not out of the sport yet.

Cannot believe there isnt a post on this thread yet about her driving into the back of a car in the pits... Luckily Bowyer's right rear tire guy wasn't still changing the tire, and the jack man didn't have the car up in the air. Could have been a real ugly outcome...
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Even ol' DW could not say a word for her defense on that one. He was actually speechless.
