LoneStar OPEN PRACTICE/REG'N - SUNDAY MARCH 16 & 23 at NOON
Kilgore, TX (3/12/14) by DarinShort.com. 65 degrees and partly cloudy will greet racers and interested race fans this coming Sunday, March 16 from Noon-4pm when LoneStar Speedway hosts an open practice session for any and all racing divisions.
All pit passes are $15, and grandstand admission is free (no food or drinks allowed through main grandstand gates).
DRIVERS: PLEASE take advantage of getting your cars registered at either of these two practice sessions, or by clicking http://www.darinshort.com/lss.html if you cannot make it to the track. With the early start time and early draw cutoff times on opening night, Friday March 28th, we ARE going to stay on schedule, so your help in this process is much appreciated! The draw closes at 5:30pm on Friday March 28th, so please plan accordingly.
RACE FANS: You are welcome to attend open practice, there is no charge to watch, and the concession stand will be open - with a very limited menu. No food or drinks are allowed through the main grandstand entrance.
PRACTICE DATES: There are only two practice dates scheduled at LoneStar Speedway, Sunday March 16 and Sunday March 23. Both are from Noon-4pm. All pit passes are $15 and you can register your cars at the pit window. OVER $10,000 in DRIVER POINTS FUND will be awarded again in 2014! The three LSS points divisions are Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and Factory Stocks. The 2013 points fund was $13,000. Drivers must complete in at least 70% of the completed LSS points events to be eligible.

LoneStar Speedway hosts one of the largest driver purses and points funds in the United States for Modifieds, Factory Stocks and Limited Modifieds - so make LoneStar your home track! There is no license fees due from drivers, are there only 12 weekends of points races, so that leaves you plenty of time for the family, vacations - and getting ready for the next big race at LoneStar!
