Below is an interview that the postman did with Kyle in early Feb. Said at the time they were waiting on Chassis and a trailer for the team. He said at the time they were looking for middle of March to get started. I don't know if you can click on the link but go to youtube and look up kyle larson winged nation and the interview is on there.

I'm thinking Tulare. They said on the web site it will be announced soon.

I don't know if it was the cart or the horse, but Stewart just got back from Austraila.   He stayed a lot longer than most.

When I spoke to Shane Stewart in Australia (several weeks ago), he told me they were "hoping" to be at Stockton, but the Merced/Chico WoO weekend was more likely.  Not sure if that's still the plan. . .

Shane Stewart at Chico is worth the price of admission alone.  I can't wait to see this car and TK fighting over the highest rut on the track. Silver Dollar looked "old -school" for the Silver Cup! Hope to see it for the Mini GC.

Chico sucked Saturday night. Rico made it work, barely, but the track turned to crap early. I vowed 3 years ago, after a Friday night parade and a Saturday night "rain out" that never saw a drop of rain fall, that I would never go back. Well I did only to watch my son in law. Track conditions just helped to reinforce my previous commitment. Don't think I'll be headed there again, at least for a couple of years.

I disagree with you based on what i saw on JackSlash's video. The track looked better than Friday night with less ruts, although there were still a few around the cushion, it was a technical track to race on. This certainly wasnt a 1 lane, follow the leader track, like we all saw a few yrs ago. It looked like a decent top and bottom. The track conditions were more a result of 40+ modifieds they had than how it was prepped. All in all, i thought the racing in the main even was very good sat night.

Thanks for the info.  I think these guys will be good right out of the box, but I know there will be some growing pains.  I hope they follow the tour and I can catch them at Eldora in a couple months.  I saw the new L/M-SS shirts on his website - have to get one of those!

Johnny - is this the new team on the tour?

They are going to run a random schedule but plan to be at Eldora I do beleive. I think they are planning on running around 60 races.

I was at Shane's dads shop last week picking up some belts and he said they were still waiting on their trailer.

Dang, I could have stayed home and watched it on video and would have seen a better track surface and race? Guess that's what I'll have to do next time. Never mind the huge ruts in 1,3and 4 and the high line that had no bite what so ever, as long as I don't have to see them in person I guess thats all that matters. Oh and let's blame the 40 plus Modifieds that showed up to support the race and were totally disrespected when it came to run hot laps etc. not one lap of track prep done all night with eighty plus cars on hand, only three divisions and they had to rush the show to get it in on time, just barely. So yeah, thanks for pointing out why I should stay home next time,

You can watch the race where ever and however you want, thats irrelevant to me. But its apparent, what you saw with jaded eyes is not the same that I saw or others who raced it and were in the pits. Still doesnt change the fact that the racing was pretty good. Fact it, without the mods, those ruts would not have been near what they were. Even with 40+ cars, 8+ more than there were on Friday, the track had less ruts. I'll commend SDS track prep team for what they did with the amount of rain they had up until Wednesday morning. Tracks what "technical" but still raceable.

There was tons of track prep all week.  Plus during the night did you not see that big tractor on the track?  Maybe you though that was just a big modified.  Plus the show was "rushed "  because it started to rain and they wanted to get the whole show in before the down pour that was on its way. A lot of people busted their ass to get that show in.   There was some screw up with qualifying for the mods on Saturday night but that's just because the mods took their sweet ass time getting to staging so they just sent out whatever cars were there in no order cause they didn't have time to wait for them.  So yeah next time maybe you should stay home.  Some people just love to complain.   Silver dollar Speedway crew you guys did a great job for what you had to work with.  Thanks for putting on a great show.

I watched the videos. The beer was cold and free as your son had left it in my fridge.   I bet Chico was better than antioch will be.
