214 Teams compete in Port-A-Cool Texas World Dirt Track Championship

A very stubborn and gusty storm system could not stop 214 race teams, Texas Motor Speedway officials, or hearty fans from taking in the great racing action at Texas Motor Speedway's Dirt Track at the Port-A-Cool® Texas World Dirt Track Championship this weekend.
Strong southern winds on Friday night's qualifying night lead to tricky track conditions as the night wore on, then several racing lanes developed on Saturday's championship events after the winds switched directions and cooler temperatures arrived.
