152 race teams took to the track for practice as the Port-A-Cool World Texas Dirt Track Championship weekend kicked off Thursday night at The Dirt Track.

Well over 200 cars will be on hand to compete for over $75,000 in cash; plus awesome custom trophies (each division winner gets their own wrapped helmet commemorating the win) and a Port-A-Cool evaporative cooling system will go home with each division champion.

FRIDAY MARCH 7 - RACING at 6PM, Complete program for the Modifieds and Limited Modifieds; plus SUPR hot laps.

SATURDAY MARCH 8 - RACING at 6PM, Complete program for the SUPR Late Models ($3,500 to win); plus last chance races, pole dashes and championship features for the Modifieds ($3,000 to win) and Limited Modifieds ($2,000 to win).

As of 5pm on Friday night 3/7 (opening night for Mods/Ltds), there were 65 Modifieds and 100 Limited Modifieds signed in!

An estimated 35 SUPR Late Models will join the mix for a complete racing program on Championship night.
