Our power rankings according to members of the BHG is posted here. Unlike Bruce Ellis, we see races at Knoxville every week. So I think our poll has some merit versus a guy who sees Knoxville 4 nights out of the whole year. But by no means are we "experts". We just sit in the stands and drink beer like most race fans. Take it for it what it is. BEEEP!

C'mon EA, you do have to give Bruce credit for putting Zomer, Brown and Alley ahead of Dewease and Rahmer this year. I think Bruce is usually pretty close with his predictions...

I'll give Bruce some credit for including Knoxville Regulars every year. I just don't know how you can call him the most qualified person for the job. I'm thankful for the Preview every year, don't get me wrong that I don't appreciate SC&M magazine or that Bruce takes the time to write it every year. Actually YOU Bill W. or Johnny G. are probably the most qualified. (I'll send Doug Auld my recommendation). I just don't think that a guy who only see's the WoO a handful of times a year and only gets to Knoxville 4 nights a year is someone that has a lot of creditability to write up the preview.

Thanks for the compliments EA, and I am a little hurt I was out of your voting poll. I guess I should visit the bus at least once every 10 years or so, at least! Also surprised that "Stir Crazy" is not on your list of Comedy movies. Looks like you avoid Kevin Costner movies for the most part as well. I liked "Wyatt Earp" in the western category...
I think Bruce does his best, as he researches how the boys are qualifying in weekly action out here, etc.

I guess since you moved from section D to the air conditioning your BHG membership expired. We'll have to add you on as a probationary member perhaps. I haven't updated the movie recommendations in a while. I have a few Costner movies that should be there. Dances With Wolves, Field of Dreams, maybe one more. Stir Crazy is a classic.

While I'm thinking about comedies, you should add "The Big Lebowski" to the list. Also you should make a scary/horror list and put "Napoleon Dynamite" at the top. Scared the hell out of me I'm serious!!!!
Ok two more of my fave movies and I'll back off of this thread: "Reservoir Dogs" and a movie with a cult following that I just watched about two months ago "The Boondock Saints." Plays out a lot like Tarantino's stuff and has a great plot to it.
