Got this from sprintcardaily.com (great site by the way)
"Continuing its impressive television ratings this season, the World of Outlaws Powered By Q event that aired Sunday from the high-banks of K-C Raceway drew a season-high .46 household rating with 516,000 viewers tuned in, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show outperformed its lead-in by 70.4 percent.
Among men 18-49, the SuperClean Summer of Money race was the 16th highest-rated event during the week of July 23-29 on ESPN2, which also aired NASCAR, NHRA, Indy Racing League and Champ Car World Series coverage in addition to Major League Baseball games."
Outperforming its lead-in by 70 percent is really impressive and shows that there are alot of people who get in to sprint car racing still.

I normally open my bar about the time the A main is coming on. I have a few regulars who come in and watch it with me. Most of them have never seen a Sprintcar show before and really like it and think "they are FuQing nuts" One of the guys is a WoO Late Model guy and his girlfriend saw the Sprints and loved them and he is pissed at me for making her a Sprint fan. I normally get the same guys to come in and watch Mediacom's coverage from Knoxville with Co Host Ricky Logan. It is fun to have it on the TV's and have a bar full of people from all around the U.S and most have never seen a show and I explain it to them and they for the most part all say the same thing. "This is way better than stock cars and these guys are FuQing nuts."
