Its a ways away but decided we're going to the july 11,12,13th portion of speedweek. Gas City, Kokomo, Lawrenceburg. We're gonna have some days to kill some time. Can any locals or frequent visitors give us some tips on places to eat or visit while in the area. The days of sitting at the camper drinking myself into a coma before the races are a pleasant memory but sight seeing has replaced that. We'll b 7 hrs from home and would like to make the most of it. Thanks in advance.

I went to the entire sprintweeks last year from Knoxville. Send me an email and I can give you some suggestions on where to go and what to do. First off, there is a casino right at Lawrenceburg. That is who put the money into track improvements from what I understand. That alone should keep you busy for that leg of your journey. lol
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.
