Does anyone know why jjr is taking the year off? Was really looking forward to seeing him race this year?

A buddy of mine stays in contact with jason and text him on Friday to see if he was going to east bay, jason replied with no and then said he is taking year off. He did mention partnering up with someone. Don't know unless he is just messing with my buddy but that's not like jason to mess around like that.

He never goes to FL in Feb, hes normally in Australia. This year he took the Winter off & decided to stay home with his family. He will be in Cocopah, as stated above.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, that must of been what he meant by "year off", he meant winter in australia. Thanks everyone

Ya might have mixed info about Jason. He will be running often again this year, but without the aid of Roush-Yates, think I saw he will be using Don Ott engines. Also as other's have said, a new paint scheme but still my favorite new paint this year and major sponsorship is Kerry Madsen (biased as I am).
