The way I heard it was all the Outlaws left and headed to Volusia. It was basically the All Stars and Posse that stayed at BRP.
I also heard that BRP gave TSR a free night test session and free hotel rooms.

The teams that had the most to lose, like true racers, raced. The teams that had the money to fix anything that might have been bent up, didn't race. Some of you get it and some of you don't.

I also read, and I can't verify this personally, that the KKR team stayed to watch the race and was ridiculing the track, drivers and teams etc. This was reported by several people in the stands. Again, I can't confirm this, this from second hand accounts.

Yep Racr' & Kenny!!...USAC/CRA & W.S. Midgets, "Copper on Dirt" is next here in Valley of the Sun @ Canyon Speedway Park!!..with approx 30 non wing shows @ 4 tracks in/round Phx. or within an hr. or so drive!!.....
