Finally feel like we're going to get to race without freezing! Kind of knew all week that it wasn't looking likely for Thursday & Friday but now...they have the forecast up to 64 degrees tomorrow and up to ***74 degrees*** for Sunday! Like someone's flipping a switch on. 
I need clarify something about Sunday's purse. The 'Day 2' purses -- the ones with $3000 to win Mods and $1000 to win Limited Mods and accompanying payoffs (shown below) -- along with the Day 2 entry fees, $100 early, $125 at-the-gate for Mods & $50 early, $75 at-the-gate for LimMods are the ones that will be used on Sunday. An extra $1000 for Mods & $500 for Limiteds has been added to first place only on Sunday.

If you aren't somewhere in the Lone Star state right now, you're either not coming or you're going to miss the start of the USMTS season in Corpus tonight. Did I mention it's going to be 74 degrees there tomorrow? .... Nevermind... Let's move on to the next best thing!
