Except for being blind, crippled or sick, we have plenty here. You will find them working in the convience and video stores.

Now in defense of the scorers it is a very difficult job. I believe that they try their hardest, but with everything going on on the track it's tough to get everything right. With that said... we need transponders. If mini-sprint tracks and orgs can afford them, I'm sure Lanny can.

I know what you mean, without a calculator most of the people working in those places couldn't give you change for a $1 item. Of course there are those that can't do it with a calculator either.

Hard job or not, it's one that needs to be done right EVERY TIME. If it can't be done right every time, then it needs to be done by someone else who can.
Next week we'll talk about when to throw a caution (like when there's a car sideways in the middle of the track).
