Red River Speedway sanctions modified division with USRA
Wichita Falls, TX (1/17/14) by DarinShort.com. With the excitement continuing to build for the 2014 racing season at the new Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, track officials are pleased to announce that the modified division will be sanctioned with USRA.
The USRA rules package for the modified division will allow area racers competing on Saturday night’s a great place to race on Friday at Red River, as their rules are compatible.

More about the new Red River Speedway:
Red River Speedway was an asphalt track and has been converted to a full ¼ mile banked dirt speedway, and they will be racing primarily on Friday nights beginning this spring.
The traveling stars of the USMTS will tackle the track for the first time on Friday, May 16th, which will certainly be a must-see event. The full track schedule will be released soon.
Besides the dirt, extensive renovations have been made to the entire facility, with additional project work still underway.
One thing is for certain, when former Red River Speedway race fans and racers return for the first time, they will see a complete transformation to the facility; and will make for a fantastic home for dirt track racing in Wichita Falls for years to come.
