Getting ready to purchase the 5 nights of racing.  I don't have MavTV, but i guess that is what Hooters is for  Smile

Wished I was Tulsa, but I guess getting a chance to purchase a webcast is a pretty good deal.  Not cheap, but hey  .... the concessions prices and parking at home are not bad (till I hit hooters  wink  wink

What's everyone doing for the chilli bowl - going, buying webcast, just watching the Saturdays race on MavTV, or just read the results and search youtube for video, or What the hell is the chilli bowl?

How many SoCAL or CRA drivers attending (and fans) attending.   Saw jay drake is running the race of champions for Ronnie Garnder's car (so cool).

Looking for a sport bar that will be broadcasting Saturday Night Main Event. Anywhere west of Tulsa, preferably Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks or Ventura for me and a few of my friends in low places.....

Hooters in Thousand Oaks said they would be happy to broadcast the race.  They even suggest I got get a booth and turn the tv to my channel and presumably watch the race.  (However, they had never heard of MavTV, but guessing since they have direct tv, they should get the channel?  BJ's also has direct and they said they could set up a channel.

My vote is for hooters, better scenery and if you want the audio, you can get a booth.

The coverage and race last night were excellant.  Only problem, the race upfront was so good, they had little time to show Kyle Larson's charge thru the field.  (But if they are battling upfront, you got to show that action.  Sure would be cool to see if someone posted on youtube Kyle's charge last night.  kyle did dominate the race of champions and Damion and Bondio had a great showing in second.

Not sure what to make of how some of those car look.  The square tail tanks look different.

Cheers

Crap didn't open scra for awhile.  I'll probably see ya at Hooters, I'll be the guy dragging his mom in.  (She likes  to watch midgets run, especially Clausen, Larson and Rico.

I called today, and Hooters said they definetly have Mavtv, its channel 214.  Almost out the door, I'll be the one with an old Bubby Jone's T  Smile

Anyone who hasn't caught any action, find a bar or something and watch the last few races.  Most people think the race is wide open especially with Kyle and Kevin coming from the B's.  (I have a sinking feeling that Sammy might stink up the lead for the main, but .... its been pretty wild all week with some twists and turns thrown in.  If they hadn't re dug the track halfway thru one night, Sammy would also have been in the b.

Hopefully I will se some of ya at Hooters in TO.

Doug
