I believe it is Elledge himself. His kids are Karsyn and Kennedy....Karsyn races karts and quarter midgets.

Getting it dialed in for Karsyn to run next year is my guess.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

wasn't he married to Dale Sr. Daughter? And his daughter has been running the #3 outlaw kart sponsored by Nickelodeon.

Correct, he is Dale Jr's brother in law. Originally from California where he ran karts and Late Models. His daughter indeed runs the Nickelodian Outlaw Kart and evidently the younger kid is racing now too. I'm trying to decide whether to pick him in my pool of not....Top notch car and I'm sure that he has some top notch guidance too.

Elledge was also Justin Allgaier's crew cheif in the Cup series at the end of 2013 so that may explain his choice of number (Allgaier's NNS #) and the Hoosier Tire Midwest sponsorship.

Lonnie Wheatley runs one every year, heres his FB post about it. If your interested, get me your email & I can forward his email to you that has the sign up info & driver selection sheet attached.
Check those inboxes for the 7th Annual Chili Bowl Pool! Just make a selection from each of the 33 groups (one platinum and eight for each qualifying night) for your chance at some big winnings. 346 competed last year with reigning champ Bryan Gapinski collecting $1,500 of more than $6,000 paid out. Entries are just $20 if received by Sunday at 11:00 p.m. CST, entries submitted after that are $30. If you would like an entry, message me your email and I'll get the info to you.

So this year we have Dale Earnhardt Jr's brother in law and Danica's boyfriend competing. I certainly hope neither tag along for the show....but then again it might take some of the crowd away from Smoke and Kasey.

I was just told that the car is the same car and team that Allgaier ran at last year's Chili Bowl. Justin can't be there this year due to Cup/NNS testing.
