Bell for a lot of them.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Hopefully Cap Henry. Caleb Helms and Trey Gustin made it to a lot of their shows last year as well. Wayne County champion Andrew Palker has talked about it.

Thats good that there getting guys to run with the All Stars cause I went to a show this last summer and it was pretty sad how few travelers they had with them at that point.

Saw a post on Facebook in which Destiny team stated they were running the full All Star tour. Guy Webb must be out there showing some tow money cash to get more guys to sign on. I do agree this is shaping up to be one of the best years of drivers to follow the All Stars in quite a while.

That was the original plan but it looks to have changed. When I interviewed Jac back in November for the FlatOut piece that is in the new issue that just came out he said the team was running a little bit of everything. With this news it sure likes like the All Stars have one of the best groups of full-time travelers in a long time.

I believe Andrew Palker if running full time as well. Won the Wayne County Track championship I believe. This is one of the best All-Star line ups in years. The wild child alone is worth the price of admission then you add in the others it makes it even better.

I went to the show just after the Hibbing show, in Glyndon MN and there was more than 8 cars but mostly because it was close enough to the NOSA stomping grounds that those guys showed up. I was glad to see sprints on a track I hadn't before and i hope BRRP brings them back again this year especially with how many guys are going to be with them but my thought was that night, if I want to see an NOSA show I can go up to River Cities any Friday night and watch them race.
I also hope that BRRP invests in a roto tiller so that they aren't pulling around an ancient 4-piece harrow that isn't even scratching the surface of the hard packed down track after the sprints heats. I just thought it was funny. BRRP really does have a nice facility though for anyone who has the chance to go to something there, its worth checking out.

2 years in a row they ran Wilmot with just 6 cars. Good thing the IRA stepped up and filled the field. Kind of stupid that they run All Star rules, with 75% of the cars from another sanctioning body.

I think you normally see more "field fillers" during Outlaw/AllStar events that you must all realize...
This isn't something new...

That's the way those series have always operated. The Outlaws and All Stars are only designed to have around 10 or less traveling teams. They rely on the field fillers to keep the shows going. When they come in, the $800 or $400 to start get the locals to show up. Anything much more than 10 full time teams, there is no financial reason to stay on the road. If there's more than 10 full time teams, there is no reason for locals to show up unless they have deep pockets too. It's a delicate balance for both series.

And the last 2 years the All Stars have taken the first place prize. The All Stars have never had a large following but the name brand brings in the extra fans to pay the higher purse. Look forward to seeing them again at Wilmot. Perhaps we could get a couple to stay over for Sun Prairie the next day to run with the IRA, doubt it as I am sure they are heading to Husets on Sunday like last year!
Haud is still planning on running a bunch of other shows whenever the All Stars are running.

I like the All Star series. They always seem to have a pretty good field of cars around Ohio where I am from. There are some pretty good locals at some of the tracks around here that give the regulars all they want.

When they run Wilmot, they are on some trip called "Great Plains Swing" something or other. If you check the point standings at the time, there are at least 9, 12 guys running full time making the swing. I just don't know why all of the guys running for points on the 'swing' can't make the shows. They pretty much have to drive pretty damn close to Wilmot to get to their next stop in Minnesota. You would thing the 'to start' money would be enough to get them to stray off the highway. I'm just saying, not really bitching. I enjoy the races nonetheless. It just seems it would be kind of embarrasing to an outfit to have 6 cars show up for a show.
