Glad to hear you are doing well Evelyn! Of course a night in the pits at the PAS will never be quite the same without you.

I will always have memories of sitting in turn one at Ascot and hearing Evelyn lining up "her boys." Truly a grand lady of Southern California sprint car racing.

Scott Daloisio has a sound bite of Evelyn calling the drivers to line up and whenever he plays it, my ears perk up!

From a Freind in South Dakota
Dave Had a long talk with Evelyn at a Chili a few years ago. What an interesting lady. Her passion for racing has no bounds. Tony Stewart arranged for her to get there from Calif. Neat lady. She also let everyone in the pits know when and where to be in no uncertain terms the few times I was at Perris. roy

From Gracie and Gene Adams
Thanks Dave for the letter from Evelyn. We didn't know she had moved but at 94, she needs to be near family and people who can help her. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
