IF (and right now, it is definetely and IF), Tod decides to have a car run locally (or in the midwest), as a car owner, I think he's concerned about having someone that will represent his company well, win races, and not overspend their budger.
Drivers I would consider based on those criteria:
Bronson Maeschen - good rep, runs well, and has done it on a budget since he started racing
Lasoski - he's gonna win a bunch of races for you - has run teams in the past
McCarl - ditto - but is the relationship completely broken??
Henderson - consistently fast, speaks well, not sure if he has ever had to run a team though (he always has driven for someone)
Meyers - slam dunk on all fronts
I know there are others that I didn't mention that would do well also.

I'm from Norther Illinois and I'd like to see Balog given a chance to drive the Big Game car. He's dominated the IRA the past few years (not much competition) and he needs to run the big tracks with better competition on a weekly basis.

Dhowe11164 . Since I guess you cant just have fun and express what you believe to be happening in the sprint car world without an ass like you be a smart ass the key word in which I stated about Meyers taking the 2014 Big Game T car was "skuttle", or rumor. I never stated it would be a "fact". And you wonder why nobody comes on here anymore. As far as the "Hirst" reference as soon as that decision was made the post was pulled as your sharp eye will witness. It was a late last minute turn around by a driver who changed that deal, thats all I will say about that.

Then maybe you should have kept a "rumor" off the message board until it was a confirmed fact, just made yourself look like someone who wants to be the first to report news like a big shot, know it all. As a result it was you who made yourself look like an "ass" with that post. I got a huge chuckle when it was confrimed you were wrong, which i knew you would be, HAHA. And as far as your cover up about a 'last minute turn around change'....ummm ok, sure, if that's what you want to believe.

Have I missed if they have said their plans for 2014 or are we still waiting to hear? Thanks!

If Big Game is serious about running local, put Gregg Bakker in the seat!

If hes looking for references he may want to check with Tony Stewart on the Lasoski thing. But hes obviously wayyyyy sharper than i am judging by the balances in our checkbooks.
|
I was thinking the same thing. If he wants to hire Lasoski he'd better check his insurance policy first and make sure mysterious disappearance and missing inventory are covered before signing that contract.
As far as Brian Brown, I think Brian would probably have trouble finding an unsponsored spot on his car to even put the sticker. Don't get me wrong on this, I think BB is great and obviously sponsors do too cause I think he has about 100 of them already.
