With one being a 360 event and the other a 410 event, I'm sure they'll both be fine.

The STN really isn't about what CI engine is under the hood, it's about the gathering of the best sprint teams all at the same track at the same time.
Typically there are about 30 or so drivers that race WoO, ASCoC, MOWA; etc. that compete at the STN.

I just don't see a bunch of sprint car guys signing up for a 3 day show with only one purse paid. If they ran an entire show in one day I think it would be a great show.

There is more sprint car racing in Ohio than what a lot of people think. We may not have the big names that the PA, Cali, and Knoxville has but they all put on a great show and many of them do not go to the STN. I'm sure a number of the FAST and OVSCA will be competing at the show plus a lot of the boss guys will be at the non wing show. At Eldora this past year they had over 50cars in the pits so I am sure that they will have a number of them this year and that area is a big modified area too. At least the promoter/owner is trying to make a big show out of this and Atomic's track look great late this season. I will do my best to make it out for this event next year.

The short track nationals is going into its 27th year...
like some other events, it's more about the bragging rights that go along with it.
also, there isn't a single night if the short track nationals that there isn't a purse paid. The deal at atomic is qualifying and heats on Friday and the main on Saturday. Totally different scenario.
There is no replacement for cubic displacement
