SPECIAL EVENTS ANNOUNCED FOR KINGS 2014

04 Dec 2013---With the Annual RPM Promoters workshop approaching, Kings Speedway has locked in its special events for next season.   And is close to finalizing yet another exciting season of racing for our racers and fans!

Saturday March 29th: The “Gary Jacob Memorial” featuring the West Coast Late Models and USAC Sprint Cars will be the seasons opener.

FRIDAY APRIL 11th is the return of the STP World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series

May: To Be Announced

Saturday June 14th The King of the West 410 Wing Sprint Cars headline the Pombo Sargent Classic during the Kings Fair!
 This will mark the first sprint car event during the fair in quite a long time!

Saturday June 28th: A Special Wing 360 Event will be held with details still to be finalized.  But this will be a BIG event!

Saturday September 20th: The Civil War Sprint Car Series is back!

Saturday October 11th: The 29th Annual “Cotton Classic” featuring, for the first time…a 410 Sprint Car Doubleheader! Featuring the 410 Traditional Sprint Cars of the USAC CRA and the Wing Sprint Cars of the King of the West!!!

October 24-25th: THE DIRT NATIONALS

The rest of the schedule will be released at the conclusion of the promoters workshop.

Re: The Cotton Classic... Lance: Does this mean we're going to get a KWS + USAC WC 360 + USAC CRA 410 weekend... or are the 360s out of the show this time? Or does Scott even know yet? 

Like you, I am waiting to see the official schedule. Your questions will be answered then.

From a track promoter's standpoint, I would think that the total purses for those 3 sprint car groups (KWS, USAC/CRA, USAC West Coast) would be too large for one night- so my guess is 410s only that night, with a few 360s in the field.
