Of course I like most all high banked tracks, but I'm talking about a better racing surface.

Car count probably dicated that they show time trials on TV (how long do 3 heats, the dash and the main take to really run (Track time). They had 2 hours of timeslot to fill.

I was at Rolling Wheels once in my life and it was the day that Sammy won not only there but at Syracuse in the Ground Round days. I think he is the only driver to win complete shows at different tracks on the same day, early 90's. It seems there were more cars back then also, what a great day it was.....

I do remember Johnny Birosh (sp) breaking his league in a big crash on the frontstretch at Syracuse, Stevie Smith was also involved and a few others. I also remember Dale Blaney hitting the wall at the end of the front-stretch a TON when I'm guessing something broke, they were awfully fast that day. Sammy and Steve had a mini dust up in the Dash at Rolling Wheels that night I think, they also had something similiar in a heat or dash a couple of nights later at Lernerville. They were the first 3 W of O shows I ever saw and Sammy won 'em all, woo hoo....

MSPN; Yes there was a big frontstrech crash; Dale Blaney hit the first turn wall hard; walk away; Crash Nash flipped down the backstrech; not hurt ; Sammy Won at Wheels after Steve Broke; GOOD OLD DAYS !

The incar camera on Donnys ride was the best incar camera I've ever seen. My heart rate when sky high trying to picture myself in the car doing the same exact thing. Wow...
