In the classifieds they have a pair of ASCS legal 360's for sale for 21k. However, a new one was rumored at 50k.
Can anyone really confirm they were 50k? Seems a bit odd that a motor can drop 29k in a couple of years, especially in ASCS type where the heads are mostly the same.

I thought they were 60k each.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

There are basically two groups of engine buyers. One is the guys who don't have much money. If they can scrape together enough sponsor help they might be able to come up with $20k tops to buy something that's better than what they currently have. The other is of course the guys who have a lot of money. They want the best they can get and that isn't someone else's used stuff. Bottom line is if you can afford $25-30k you can probably afford whatever it costs for a new one. You just don't see that many used motors sell in the $30k range.
