Ok, 53rd Knoxville nationals. Kid Shatz starts 21 moves to 5th by the break. In first by lap 47, Was booed during the introductions to the A-Main - Why? I mean, I like Kinser and Swindell too (Jeff, not so much Sammy and I used to work for Fed Ex). I've seen lasosky, hewitt, haudenschild, sammy(and Jeff), steve and stevie, doty and blaney, lock horns in Memphis, Indiana, western Ohio, Illinois and Missouri. I watched Billy Boat take an ASCS feature at Manzanita. Never saw Wolfgang run (can't say why) but do fans hate Donnie that much? Wish I could have seen Wolfie and Jan Opperman run back in the day. I think this new guy from ND has talent.

All good drivers get the boo. Some who think they are do also.
Wolfgang, Sammy, Tim Green, Shane Carson, Lasoski, Schatz, Rahmer, Kinser etc all get or got booed. Winners get booed. It is from poor sportsmanship, don't like same person winning all the time, can't stand ther favorite driver getting beat, don't like his car number or sponsor. Always said you finally made it when you are booed.

This reply is spot on. Wait till you see the airplane fiying over the nationals pulling a "ANYBODY BUT SCHATZ" banner like they did to Kinser. Schatz is a fantastic driver and isn't done winning anywhere anytime soon.
