A big congrats to Jason Johnson....back to back national championships with Ford power.  So much for a Ford costing so much more after considering all his extra winnings.  Jack Dover's Ford enjoyed the identicle Johnson-type superiority in his region as well.  Another shout out to Josh Richards for his typical domination since switching to Ford power.  Jimmy Owens locked up yet another title as always weeks ago with his Ford.   While competing against mostly chevies, Johnson, Dover, Richards and Owens were not 10th, not 5th and not even second.... not field fillers, not wannabes, not lapped cars, not cry baby losers, not what ifs, not DNFs.  They are the best, the epitome, first, most durable and fastest in their class.

Considering all this it is an absolute shame that dirt track fans from coast to coast are being denyed the promised "greatest show"  when the World of Outlaws sprint cars come to town.  Those involved with 410 sprint car racing are failing us.  It is supposed to be the ultimate in dirt track racing yet they refuse to give an effort even equal to the champions listed above.  It will be even more rediculous than the last 15 years if the 410 season opens this February with the identicle inferior pieces under every single competitor's hoods.

A sincere thanks to all the Ford powered dirt track champions around the country defying the odds, removing the blinders, stepping out of the box and reaching for something greater.  You have something the generic guys will never know.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3

Just curious if you can answer this for me Minthess....  How many races has Johnson won at Devils Bowl since the big Ford switch?    Also, how has he fared at Knoxville with Ford power?

He went to victory lane at Devils Bowl immediately with the Ford.  He usually only beats 90% of the chevs at Knoxville.

Which really means that 10% of the best ones he can't hang with.    And I can't recall him winning the last two years at Devils Bowl.   Based on what I saw this year he's not the threat he used to be when he was running Chevys.

You dont think JJ would be fast in a Chevy? Give some of these other low budget teams the same $ sponsors as JJ and see how much better they would be. Just sayin. Mindless must be related to Henry Ford I guess.

No mention of TBJ? His Ford seems to run pretty well also.
