I've never heard of him before tonight. Checked out his Twitter page and saw that he is/was in the Army and is based out of San Antonio. He is making his first start tonight and Johnny just announced he's running the whole tour next year. Wow!!!!!!!!!

You got me stumped. It will be good for the guy to see the country, and race the sport at it's highest level. Looking like a few new outlaw teams next season. 5 or so new teams running the platnum WoO package

He ran the Ironman 55 last year at Pevely, I believe he was in a red #10.. he didn't fair to well..didn't really do much of anything. Always good to see more teams joining the Outlaws though I wish him the best next season

Jim has landed a Sponsor that will allow him to run 20 Outlaw Shows in 2014, not the whole schedule. He has raced for quite some time, Johnny was referring to his first start this season with the Outlaws.

Official Press Release on San Antonio Sprint car driver Jim Perricone has Jim commiting to 20+ World of Outlaw shows for 2014. Jim works for the US Army HQ in San Antonio and his job does not allow him to run a full tour. Jim was a Previous East Bay Raceway regular 10 years ago. The team will start 2014 off at Volusia for the Winter Nationals with the Outlaws and visit with old friends and then head to Jims home state Texas for the Texas Nationals at Devils Bowl. Last year Jim finished 108 in WoO points in 2012. The team suffered a major motor explosion at the Kings Royal this year in July and with the Government shutdown and furlough had Jim out of the seat a bit in 2013. With any team starting out running with the Outlaws one will be schooled and Jim is learning that and will be patient with it as he finds speed to run with the best. Follow us in 2014 and see Jims story thru.

Who other then bobby allen`s two car are going to be racing fulltime. He is the only new team racing fulltime next year, and guess what the chances of him racing the whole schedule is slim at best.
