Leaving Sunday for our annual trip west to Knoxville via Oskaloosa. Are there any construction delays on 74 and 34 ???

If you are taking Hiway 34 between Burlington and Ottumwa, you might find some roadwork between Mt Pleasant and Fairfield. Nothing major, same 4 lane expansion that you saw last year. The enterance to the east side of Ottumwa is different than last time but there will be no delays there.

If you take interstate all the way, I didn't run into many delays at all accept for
some minor stuff in Indianapolis, and maybe 50-100 miles West of Indianapolis
there is a bridge out from a truck accident (apparently destroyed bridge from fire)
but that will detour you off the interstate for about 15 miles around that bridge but not
really that bad all the way

Clyde: You guys have a safe one! Still thinking about coming up.
Be careful on those Illinois interstates. I've never been pulled over by the state troopers there but I know they'll nail ya. Heard they have cameras set up at all construction zones and if your caught speeding on camera they'll mail you a ticket.

The bridge on I-74 between Champaign and Peoria is open and repaired now....as far as cops I saw a lot more in Indiana during Indiana sprint week than I have in Illinois all month.
