Kerry Madsen – American Racing Custom Wheels on Board for Charlotte!

(Bill W) October 30, 2013 – The Keneric Racing #29 team and driver Kerry Madsen will be in good company in a number of ways November 7-9 at the Dirt Track in Charlotte, North Carolina. American Racing Custom Wheels will be on board for the ride in the nationally televised World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws sprint cars…and many of the greatest in the sport will be assembled.

The St. Mary’s, New South Wales, Australia driver is obviously looking forward to representing American Racing.  “We’re really excited about putting this deal together,” says Kerry.  “We have a 2014 car ready to go for Charlotte.  (Keneric Racing owners) Bob and Pete (Gavranich) are coming over from Australia.  The World Finals has turned into a pretty big event so we’re pretty excited about the whole thing.”

Kerry is looking forward to running on national television in Charlotte.  The races will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network in December.  “We’d been talking to American Racing and they had expressed an interest in a TV race,” he says.  “The car looks fantastic.  We just can’t wait to get down there and race it!  We’ll do the best that we can, and who knows?  This is great for us, and it will give American Racing Custom Wheels some great exposure.”

The veteran driver enjoys racing in Charlotte.  “I’m always excited to get down there, just because it’s ‘Race Central’,” says Kerry.  “They have beautiful facilities.  We want to go and run strong. We’ve been working hard, and we’re really after a strong result.”

American Racing Custom Wheels

American Racing Custom Wheels still prides itself on the mission that began in a California speed shop nearly 60 years ago with a single set of custom lightweight, custom drag racing wheels.  They set a standard that launched the custom wheel industry from the racetrack to the streets, and they’re proudly continuing the tradition today.
