GREAT FORMAT for the fans, the drivers, and hopefully the promter (PAS) gets rewared with a great crowd.  Kudos to whoever came up with the points.  The only drawback is for someone who can not race on Friday (or has a horrible Friday Night).  The way it reads, everyone has to qualify and run heat races both nights, and kinda like the Trophy CUp, every point/position in the heat race (at least the top 4) means something.

Now if we could just get USAC to do a fully inverted main  wink   To be honest, I think this is one of the best formats USAC and PAS have had for the OVALS.  Kudos to whoever came up with it  Smile  Smile

What's the format for Thursday?

Any senior discount.  I know the 3 day ticket is a bargain (you get Thursday for free I think).  Was at Kern County Raceway last week, and they offered tickets at half off for seniors.  Kern is the PAS of short tracks for pavement track.
