Here is some on-board footage I did back in 1991. It is on Ron Shuman's Tamale Wagon at Knoxville Raceway during the CRA Midwest Tour. Ron even narrated it for me during the tour. It is older stuff, but it worked back then. Notice the Hall of Fame construction and no bleachers on the backstretch. http://youtu.be/8EM9vXOpk98

I remember that show well and since I was in high school in 1991, I remember the construction phase of the Hall of Fame as well as hte beginning construction on the first section of bleachers on the backstretch (you can see them in the video behind the quanset hut that has since been removed to make room for additional back stretch bleachers).
Front stretch grandstands has changed quite a bit since 1991 as well, with the addition of more rows, the VIP suites, and 2 additional sections down toward turn #1.
The old scoreboard (which was new in the 1990 if I remember correctly) in turns 3 and 4 and no billboards in turns 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. and the "old" fence on teh backstretch made of old wood poles of varying heights.
It truely is amazing at the changes over the years, but even looking at the video, Knoxville in 1991 is nicer than some tracks in 2013, amazing that the track was that modern even back then.
