True - Sammy did run away in the A main - but his heat race was another story. He was running last for several laps and couldn't get past anyone ( I was astounded) - until the trouble started for others and 4 cars went out - giving Sammy some much needed passing points.

So what your saying is that it`s better to be lucky than good...before you all start rippin me, Sammy is good. It started out sounding like he went down there and just killed everybody. Not able to be there so I will continue to keep gettin these great up dates from all the hosers. Looking forward to all the up dates to come...be safe

Brian Brown has won the last 2 Spring National and the last ASCS National races at Jackson Mn. and has not passed 1 car to win any of them. That is luck. He is good and lucky.

Sammy has had the bad luck and the good luck at the STN. Lost two races due to parts failures. Won 2011 on 3 wheels. Lapped up to 6th place in 2013.
Sammy is the best ever.

To bad if he was a little better driver, and had a little stronger motor he could have lapped up to 2 nd place..

2011 on 3 wheels is a joke. He had a flat LF witch is the least important tire on car since most of the time its off the ground. Cant believe Kevin would give Sammy the 1pill. Gotta make him drive foward not give him the race. Great racing all week! Cudos to Tracy & track for all their hard work ALL week!

The left front wheel/tire on a "winged" sprint car is very important and no it doesn't spend most of it's time off the ground. A "winged" car that is laying on the RR (or LF up) is not fast.
Why wouldn't Kevin give Sammy the pole? Those guys didn't show up to run last. Yeah, it would have been fun to see him give it to one of the "under dogs", but don't hate on Kevin for taking care of his Dad.

Nvr said they did. All i said was its not hard to drive a sprintcar on three wheels when the one tire missing is LF,ask any driver & the track was wide open so there was no traffic. Not taking away from what the man did/does but do t say he one it on three wheels like its something special

That makes no sence to me. Why would u put the "strongest" competitor on front row when u have the chance to put him futher back. I was pulling for Kevin cuz he was the only one up front that could challenge Sammy early in the race

To your point, I would have liked to have seen Kevin give the pole to one of the under dogs, but for the Swindell's, its all business. They come to win and they're not about to give away an advantage. It's not a popularity contest, it's about winning $15k. Love them or hate them, its not that difficult to understand why Kevin gave the pole to his father...

He picked up 3 spots during one yellow in his heat, he was struggling for sure. Right place, right time. He started his qualifier from 6th and won it. I'm not a Sammy fan but I'm giving it up, what he was given in the heat he learned from. He made it look easy from then on. I was glad to see a lot of new blood up front during the 4 nights. Great show, 3 hour rain delay, I'd have bet the farm the Saturday show was a gonner.
