The number of times that the 51 of #paulsinthewall finished ahead of Rahmer's 20s ride during WoO events that both participated in during the 2013 season... :/
Opinions may vary...

I wasn't paying attention on Sunday night. Did them mention the owner of the 51 during the Rahmer tribute?

On a related note:
When you consider where Fred Rahmer was just one year ago, his story is one of the greatest come-back stories in sport.
After a 25 year hiatus from the Williams Grove Speedway, I had the good fortune of a job assignment that allowed me to be there every Friday night. I don't recall Fred cracking the top ten too many times, if at all, particularly after June. He often went backwards - like every week often- like starting 15th and finishing 18th or worse.
When he parted with the 51 and took over the 77 at the end of the season, the performances went from bad to worse-despite the nostalgic hope of even non-Rahmer fans. Forget a points race, I think the 77 and it's driver were parked on the last night -maybe the last 2 nights.
Though I don't think any serious fan ever wrote him off, if you would have said in October 2012 that Fred Rahmer would win 2 track championships and the Williams Grove National Open in 2013, I doubt that the even the guy who gave Fred the big bear hug would have believed you.
What a difference a year makes!
A great story.

This fan never had a doubt. I knew at the end of the 2012 season when It was announced that Fred would be driving the 20s in 2013 you would see a man on a mission. To be fair the 77 wasn't much better than the 51. The crew cheif on the 51 had it out for Fred and wouldn't set the car up to his liking. Chad called him just another no good driver from PA. Why do you think Fred hasn't mentioned that car owner AT ALL this season, or as he retires. The 51 isn't even on the tribute shirt with all other cars Fred has drove. He's just stated how being with people who beleive in him made all the difference in the season he had this year. SCREW TEAM CJB....Look at how they stung poor Stevie Smith along all year. Friday night of the open he had enough and told them they could shove the piece of shit 19 up their ass. WAY TO GO FRED!!!!! THAT'S HOW YOU MAKE A STATEMENT!!!!

Hell they car they gave Stevie to run the Open with was a used up 51 with a motor that had 30 or more races on it. Only a matter of time and Paul will see what these two have seen from this team. They already gave him the dumbest nickname in all of Motorsports.

I find it funny how us as fans always want to blame the owner when our favorite drive gets released or fired. Fred is one of my favorite drivers and will always will be. You all bad mouth the cjb team and for what giving Fred 5 or 6 years of great racing in thier car. Did you bash Al Hamilton when Fred and he split? What about when he left the 88H? or maybe the when Fred left the Apple 12? Just to name a few great owners that let Fred and a lot of other great racers drive thier cars. And you Slink I'm just wondering how the CJB team left Stevie hanging. If i recall Chris Luck was the owner of that team when it all started and CJB was just a sponsor but when Mr. Luck went off to jail the CJB team stepped up and kept it going for the rest of the year, and restarted it back up this year for him. Fred had a story book ending to his career but if it wasnt for all the owners on his tribute shirt plus the CJB#51 team this shirt might of came several years ago. Fred is a true champion in my book but so are all the owners that give our favorite drivers a oppurtunity to drive thier cars every week!!

The 20s ran 5 WoO races total and finished 7th, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 1st and were in front of the 51 in each. Not to bad for a guy who so many so called "fans" and "long-time" followers of the sport wrote off. There sure are a lot of people eating some crow this year and I absoultely love it. Congrats to Fred, Moon and Rob on a outstanding season.

Since you know so much then you should know the 51 and the 19 cars are different. So the car that was raced at the Open couldn't have been an old 51. Go do your homework and figure out the differences. Your motor comment isn't accurate either. I guess you paid for the last Kistler rebuild 30 races ago, right?
Maybe as a race fan you should be thankful that there are still car owners willing to spend the type of money it takes to field a car(s) that are as competitive as the 51 & 19.

So the CJB team purposely gives their drivers used up equipment and the crew chief sets the car up wrong in order to make the driver look bad? Sounds illogical to me.

You are correct, illogical.
But, when the owners listen to the car builder/crew cheif, who is building cars at no or little cost, instead of listening to the driver, one in which knows the feel, handeling characteristics he is looking for, knows what it takes to to make him feel comfortable and fast, there is a problem. If this was a rookie or novice driver, i could understand this happening, but if its any driver with the experience, drive or knowledge of a Rahmer, Kinser, Swindell or a few others it is a huge issue. Then add to it that you are being told to shut up and drive, your washed up and are on the back side of your career, this may be an issue also. Lol
Its part of racing, and it pissed Rahmer off. Thanks to the 51 team that it happened. Made for a very interesting 2013 season watching Fred drive with a chip on his shoulder.

It was definitely a Barry Jackson-Chad Clemons conspiracy. One wanted to travel, the other wanted to be a big shot.
Sometimes you can't teach an Old Dog new tricks (Rahmer). Why would you have too? He knew all of them to start with!!!
All you can do is make him look bad & crew chief did a hell of a good job of doing too.
Does anyone really think Stevie Smith would walk away from a competitive car? If so, you belong on the 51 crew!!!

After June Fred had 12 top 10s, 5top5s, and 2wins in 15 races. His 3 races outside the top10: 2 of them he broke (twin 20 first race, outlaw tuneup) - he was running top 10 both times when the failures happened. The other one was the 2nd twin 20 where he started somewhere in the 20's and finished 13th.

the way I see it is it all work out for everyone involved, Fred went out and proved he could still drive a racecar and the 51 team has went out on the road and is gonna finish 3rd in WOO points. Some thing dont last for ever and changes are needed for all parties invovled.

Conspiracy theory? Is it 1963 in Dallas at Daley Plaza? Who shot JFK?? I guess in this Paul Harvey mystery its this case of who sabotaged Fred Rahmer???... Give me a break.
I'm sure Barry did things to the race car to make it go slow and jeopardize his job as the mechanic. Plus I'm sure the CJB team wanted to spend $$$ to watch their car go backwards to justify a driver change? Maybe the driver tanked it so he could blame teh mechanic(wrong set ups) and the owner(not enough equipment) for a crappy season, ever thought of that?
As far as the 19 car goes....it did start 14th in the Knoxville Nationals. I guess thats not competitive, right?
