Dirt – THE MOVIE, FRYE, ECKRICH, MILLER, KEMENAH AND PLANCK HEADLINE Dirt Nation™

 

Hampton, VA --- The Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening December 4th will present a plethora of special guests from the world of dirt track racing across the country. Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil airs from 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST on WLRT 1490 THE OUTLAW and can be accessed over the internet at: www.racetalklive.com and www.dirtnation.net, and is hosted by Dave Seay.

Dirt Nation™ will spotlight the movie produced by Rabbit Man Films, Dirt – A Season Inside the Devil's Bowl. Joining the show will be director / producer Jeff Bowden. Dirt – A Season Inside the Devil's Bowl captures the real world of the World Class Street Stocks, a division at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX during the 2002 season. The movie debuted during the USA Film Festival and has made worldwide appearances. The next step for the film is for theatrical release. Making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be the 2006 Mid-America Racing Series (MARS) Champion Bill Frye of Greenbrier, AR. Frye, now a four-time MARS Champion, won the 2006 crown by a mere 8 points over long-time rival Terry Phillips. Frye was contemplating retirement but will return in 2007 to the regional series in an attempt to win his fifth series title. Frye drives the Bill Frye Racing, Kuntz & Company powered, GRT #66 sponsored by Petroff Towing, Subway Subcess of NW Arkansas and Tortilla's Mexican Grill.


Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be the 2006 World Dirt Racing League (WDRL) Champion Denny Eckrich of Tiffin, IA. Eckrich has now won consecutive WDRL championships and drives the Doug Eckrich Motorsports owned, Grove Automotive powered Barry Wright Chassis #50 with sponsorship from Precision Performance, Iowa-Illinois Taylor Insulation, Grove Automotive, Mac Tools, Kelly's Auto Sales, Central Iowa Distributing, Ace Auto Recyclers, Noel's Tree & Crane Service, Stockman Construction, Fast City Arctic Cat.

Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be Mid-Atlantic dirt late model star Jeremy Miller of Gettysburg, PA. "Mighty Mouse" has become one of the most prolific dirt late model drivers on the east coast and regularly competes with the Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS), World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Miller captured 17 wins this season driving the Buckler Motorsports, powered Rocket chassis #24 sponsored by Complete Flooring, Johnson Enterprise, Torco Racing Fuels, Jules Machine and Miller Fabrication.

Making a visit to Dirt Nation™ will be 2006 World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Chad Kemenah of Kemenah drives the Chad Kemenah Racing owned Eagle #15K sponsored by Underground Utilities Inc. and RacinSoles.com. Kemenah is a four time All Star Circuit of Champions Champion and has already signed on to follow the World of Outlaws Sprint Car tour once again in 2007, he will join the show to talk about his 2006 season.

Making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ will be northeast modified driver Dale Planck of Courtland, NY. Planck posted one win and twelve top 10's during his 2006 Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Series campaign. Planck pilots the Kookie's Motorsports owned, Kevlar Racing Engines powered Bicknell #77x sponsored by East End Auto Parts & Construction, Akwak's Smokeshop, Montana, Inc. and Jacobs Excavation. Planck will join the show to talk about his 2006 season and 2007 plans.
