The 2nd Annual Carolina Sprint Car Flea Market will be held at McLain Motorsports on Saturday, November 16th from 6AM-until in Indian Trail, NC.
Last year, we had a very successful first time event, and this year looks to be even bigger. Everything is free, except my uncle's sausage biscuits. He'll charge you a dollar.
This year we plan on having an asphalt seminar with the Seelman's of the Must See Racing Series. We might even have an asphalt driver on hand to talk setups, and promote the following week's $5,000-to-Win Mason Dixon Meltdown at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC.
Also coming back will be Jeff McCall, Dave Blaney's part-time crew chief, answering dirt sprint car questions on everything from set-ups, reading the track, squaring the car, etc. Last year, we only thought this part would last 10-15 minutes at the most. Two hours later, Jeff was worn out from the borage of questions from newcomers getting in the sport to oldtimers coming back to the sport.
Afterwards, we will have an open discussion with several of the area promoters on the state of sprint car racing in the Carolinas. Hopeful promoters to include Keith Frye and French Grimes of the Carolina RaceSaver Sprint Car Series, Shawn Mott of the ASCS 305 Series, Pete Walton of USCS fame, and Brian Carter of the World of Outlaws. Should be interesting.
I'm also trying to line up a special quest that is sure to excite the hell of out any true race car fan. I'll keep everyone up to date on how that works out.
Brandon McLain

Great! We are looking forward to another visit to the Mclain compound. I had a great time last year. Thanks for having this again this year. It's a great resource close to home for all us Carolina sprint car devotees. Time to reload for 2014

It has been 99% confirmed that French Grimes will be at our flea market to discuss all Racesaver issues, help all the new racers out, and sell a part or two...

Chris Seelman, photographer for the USCS, Must See Racing, Carolina RaceSaver, and various other open wheel events will be on hand with her computer and printer selling photos as far back as 2010. Visit her website at www.ChrisSeelman.com and shoot her an email of what photos you'll be interested in her printing out for you. Check out her Art and Disign section if you'd like her to add some special effects to a favorite photo.

I just put my Donny Schatz topwing on HoseHead classifieds. I will deliver to this swapmeet if that would work for the buyer. Otherwise, it'll be there for sale or trade

You are getting a nice line up of guests! FYI- my big wing won't be at the swap meet, but the Donny Schatz front wing will be there for sale. Guess I wish I had one of Pittman's now

Sometimes important things don't get repeated: The Mclain's are collecting non-perishable food donations and decent used clothing for a local charity. I think that's awesome.
So if you come out for the free setup seminars or just to look around, bring some food to throw in the box with ours- sometimes folks need a little help.
