|
Typically in the past the World Finals have been on Speed Channel. Is there anyway to watch it live this year? I dont care if its PPV or whatever. I just want to be able to see it. Has anyone heard? Thanks.

I read where dirtondirt is PPV streaming the World FInals. They are pretty much a late models only website, but I would presume they would be streaming all 3 divisions for an event like this.

I wonder why when you click on "schedule" it doesnt list it at all? It's listed under "cybercast" but not under "schedule" where the other PPV's are listed with their price to watch. There isnt even an advertisement banner anywhere saying how much for all 3 days and/or single day shows. Just seems weird that nothing is listed with a price and etc.
The only reason I am being a pain in the butt is we typically have 40 people at the house and watch it on the projector and I dont want to send out invites to something that may or may not be happening.
I emailed the WoO and they replied back with "no live broadcast" but I am assuming that means nothing on TV. Which I already knew.

From what I understand it will be a live Cybercast on DV with the CBS crew production truck and CBS will show those three nights on three consecutive weekendss later in the year on the CBS Sports network. If you saw the Grove - it was the best cybercast I've ever seen quality-wise ... and the races were even better.

Phil, only 2 nights of the show will be with the TV truck. Thursday will be a one camera shoot. The 2 racing nights will be the TV shows.

Greg,
Expect more then a typical single camera shoot for the Thursday Dirtvison.com broadcast.... Friday and Saturday nights will both be a full 8 camera shoot with a complete graphics package.

Brian - again the Grove was absolutely the best cybercast ever. Would be nice if that could be done more often next year. Sell the cybercast live and later the commercials for TV = double income stream.
