Just so you know, if you don't decide until later next year that you want to go, you will still have your pick of pretty good seats and camping.  I didn't even order my tickets until May and I didn't get camping until late June.  Had no problems with either one.  Just watch the seating chart to make sure the seats you want don't start to go.

I would have to agree with the above statement, the campground seemed to have several empty spots still aval last year  all week long, im not sure we will ever see the attendance we did during the 50th aniversary, but better be safe than sorry besides booking your stay solidifys any and all wedding plans, family reunions, retirements, b-day paries ,anniversaries you know, "oopsie, guess I cant make it, allready have plans that week, sorry".... lol

Of course camping should be easy to find, who can afford to fill up a camper and drive out there anymore?  Not me!  I'll take Donny Schatz by the way lol

hodnett, you are going to have a great time. Come as early as possible and be sure to leave Sunday open just in case of rain. Dude, nothing beats Nationals!

Yes.  If I can say one thing--plan on staying until Monday just in case!!  I only have a limited amount of days available every year to go.  If I can only be gone 4 days, I plan on going on Thursday until Monday.  If the weather looks absolutely beautiful and there is almost no chance of rain, then I leave on Wednesday and plan on being home Sunday afternoon.  I missed the main event 2 times and I won't miss it again unless it is run past Sunday night!!

Ive missed the A main twice because of rain myself! Monday off is always an option for me ever since that second time.

We don't even Pre order our tickets.. We sit in section h about row 10 and we go on Wednesday afternoon and get our Wednesday and Thursday tickets then on Friday we go get our Friday and Saturday tickets.. Saturday fills up pretty decent, still a bit of room, but the other 3 days it's pretty open around our area.. Should have no problem finding tickets.. Hope you decide to come and have fun at your first nationals!

Better make sure they get the ratings they want for 2013 first or there may not be a CBS Sports Network broadcasts in 2014....

But, since the WoO never paid for the days of TNN or Speed for Knoxville anyway, I doubt it.  My guess would be PPV again in 2014.
