Truly a beautiful race car. I believe I have read that this is the ONLY race car that A.J. Foyt has ever asked for a ride in. And that was after at least two Indianapolis wins. I can rememer attending a USAC sprint car race at Ascot Park in the mid to late 60s at which Foyt drove the Tamale wagon. One of the things I remember is that Foyt spun out in the first turn and was out of the car and up on the crash wall very quickly.
