With the completion of our first major Micro race at English Creek Speedway I must say it was huge success. I need to thank a lot of people first of all I want to thank Rick Schelling for providing us with a great racing surface (Rick informed me had I put more water on the track it would have been better. I learned something every race). With that being said the racing was outstanding. Of course it could not happen without the sponsors.
Thanks to our Title sponsor Leighton Processed Meats and the help of Sandals Lounge, Ken’s Racing Pix, Ruth’s Snack Shack, Pella Motors, Hoosier Tiers, Stallard and Eagle Motorsports.
I would also like to Justin Clark for outstanding job on the flag stand and Mark Drost for his colorful announcing.
I do believe that we have the most outstanding safety crew in business with the Columbia Fire and Rescue so a great big thank you to them, they have been with us since our very first race.
I must thank all the volunteers that help out without them the show dose run as smoothly as it should.
Last but not least I thank my family for all that they do to make English Creek Speedway what it is.
I say it is the racers that make the show and you driver delivered one heck of a show. I sincerely thank you for your participation.
Congratulation to Corey Forsyth, for winning the A Main event and picking up the $1000 and also to the rest of the drivers that made the A main.
We are all ready working next year’s event.
