The 1st Annual Sunflower Showdown is in the books an all I can say is when do we do this again. The best of local cars and drivers in four days of competition with some big money on the line right at the end of the season when everyone is just about broke from the long grueling Summer of racing.
Plus the USMTS USRA mods and the MLRA late models in for the closing show of the year at Lakeside, how much better of an end to the season could a track present.
Without giving too much away let's just say Springfield Missouri drivers figure into these two a-mains quite a bit. Something new for the mods is a three wide start for the Showdown, you have to watch the video.
Both a-mains go 50 laps so you better get a sandwich and a drink and settle back into a nice easy chair for these two races. Enjoy.
