I was thinking this same thing while it was going on. I could see CBS's team Saturday night": "Did he just says shit....multiple times" , "...and now he's talking about getting hammered tonight?", "Where did this giant drunk come from and why is carrying Freddie around the front stretch?!" It was definitely a festive atmosphere at that point

The guy bear-hugging Freddie was also on the movie Happy Gilmore wearing a shirt that said "guns dont kill people I kill people".

not gonna see any of that at a NAPCAR race, i kinda like the big drunk guy he was so happy had to pick Freddie up, then staggered off ! ! ! !

he is the same guy who was on top of the fence screaming his head off by the beer hill section . me and my friends saw this on dirtvison we were waiting for him to fall off the fence . then the next thing we see is him picking up fast freddy . he was one drunk dude and he looked like a giant next to fred man hes one big dude . but fred was cool about it . you will be missed fast freddy.

Pretty cool seeing the emotion from Lance with a real genuine hug. Classy. Freddy telling Bruce, 'it's alright' or 'he's okay' something like that was pretty cool too. Fred told a guy who tried to hand him a beer, 'I can't drink beer.' I'm guessing for the broadcast? Also it wasn't on the video, but Pittman was pretty classy to describing Fred's calls while DP was driving in from Indy. It was a magical night.
