The MSCA is proud - and excited - to announce that this weekend's upcoming $1000 to win/$150 to start "MSCA Hammer Hill Invitational" at Tracey Clay's famed I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR will now be CO-SANCTIONED by RaceSaver!!!! That's right, we have an agreement for this to be an officially sanctioned RaceSaver event in cooperation with our own MSCA 305 group.
"This will be a ground breaking event as it's the first of it's kind to take place in this part of the country. We have worked hard to establish the MSCA as a credible 305 organization capable of holding our own with the best the sprint car world has to offer. I guess now, we'll really see how we stack up against the biggest 305 group in the country. It's kinda like David and Goliath, but I wouldn't bet against our guys." said MSCA representative, Jay Adams.
Tracey Clay has worked with the RaceSaver group head, French Grimes, as well as MSCA representatives and was able to put all the pieces together. We are excited about the possibilities for our groups to race together head to head in this co-sanctioned event. It's definitely shaping up to be one you don't want to miss! See everyone Saturday!!!!

For those of you that haven't had a chance to catch a RaceSaver Sprint Car division race, here's a video of the qualifying night feature for the RaceSaver Sprint Cars at the 2012 LoneStar Sprint Nationals:

David Forbis Racing/Team28 had a great time last night at I-30 Speedway for the Racesaver/MSCA 305 event.
Neil McCarl drove a heck of a heat race with only 3 shocks.. apparently the LR heim broke out right from the start. He battled and kept the 2nd position for the entire race until the final lap when he almpst looped it. The feature saw the #28 Shed Road Auto Parts sprinter start way in the back, which is never good. Neil and Marty Hargroder in the 1x battled for pretty much the entire feature around the 7th-9th positions as the leading Louisiana cars. The battle came to an end on the white flag lap as Neil spun up high in the middle of turns one and two, collecting Hargroder. Both drivers were fine, bummed, but fine.
Even though it appeared the MSCA 305's had just a 'little extra' compared to our Racesavers, it was competitive and we'd gladly come back!
Here's the video from last night...
